Some settings do the work before a word is spoken. Indus sits above the Tjampuhan valley on the Campuhan ridge, open to the sky, open to the hills, with Mount Agung on the horizon when the day is clear. It has been one of Ubud’s most sought-after tables since 1998. For weddings, it is something else entirely.
The terrace holds an intimate gathering of two dozen as naturally as it holds a celebration of eighty. Two levels, hand-carved columns, teak and terrazzo, and the valley below at every turn.
We arrange everything, ceremony, dinner, cake, and decor, personalised to each couple. No packages that feel like packages. Just a setting that is genuinely hard to find, and a team that has been doing this for a long time.
Ceremonies at dusk, when the light drops into the valley and the air cools. Long dinners that follow. Dancing if you want it.
Indus is on Jalan Raya Sanggingan, ten minutes from central Ubud, perched above the confluence of the Wos and Campuhan rivers. The views reach across the valley to the rice fields and jungle beyond. At golden hour, there is nowhere quite like it in Ubud.
Open air throughout. The space is covered, so rain is not a concern.
For smaller ceremonies, elopements, close family, a dinner for twenty, Indus offers privacy and atmosphere without the scale of a resort. The upper terrace can be arranged for an intimate group with the valley entirely to yourselves.
Every wedding at Indus begins with a conversation. Tell us your date, your numbers, and what matters most to you.
